    David W. Burk M.D.

    Dr. Burk is a board certified Ophthalmologist who was born in Bay City. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Michigan. A Doctor of Medicine Degree from Michigan State University was granted in 1990. A medical internship was completed at the Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, and his ophthalmology training was completed at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

    Dr. Burk is a member of the Michigan Ophthalmological Society, the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He is also a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners.

    When Dr. Burk is not at work, you can find him either at the Riverwalk gardening, or with his boys on the farm tending to a large vegetable garden.

    Dr. Burk married Kristine in 2006 and they have 4 boys who have attended Faith Lutheran School and Valley Lutheran High School.  In the summer, Dr. Burk and his family like to travel around the United States and hike in the national parks.  He likes to listen to christian podcasts, do bible studies and loves to discuss religion and faith.

    It is important to Dr. Burk to carry on the tradition of providing high quality eye care for our community at Bay Eye Care Center.

    Robert W. Graham, D.O.

    Dr. Graham received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and completed his internship and residency through Michigan State University at Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, Michigan. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Michigan Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, and the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.

    He specializes in cataract surgery, injection therapy for macular degeneration and diabetes, glaucoma, eyelid surgery, laser treatment for glaucoma and ocular trauma. Dr. Graham is a Michigan native and lives in Midland with his wife and two sons. He enjoys spending time with his family traveling, fishing and hunting.

    Michael J. Brewer, O.D.

    Dr. Brewer has been providing complete eye care services in Bay City since 1992. He grew up in Frankenmuth, Michigan. He received his Bachelors of Science degree graduating with honors from Michigan State University in 1988 and his Doctor of Optometry degree with honors in 1992 from The Ohio State University. He has professional interests and specialized training in treating ocular surface diseases, dry eye syndrome and specialty contact lens fitting. He also provides comprehensive medical eye exams and vision exams. He is certified in the treatment and management of ocular conditions.

    Dr. Brewer is a past-president of the Saginaw Valley Optometric Society. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Michigan Optometric Association (team leader), Contact Lens Section of the American Optometric Association and Grassroots Optometry. He enjoys traveling with his family, golfing, tennis, and biking.

    Kristin M. Sansburn, O.D.

    Dr. Sansburn was born and raised in Bay County and has provided eye care in the area since 1995. She completed her Bachelor's degree with honors from Michigan State University and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree with honors from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University.

    She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Michigan Optometric Association, and Saginaw Valley Optometric Association. Clinically , Dr. Sansburn enjoys all aspects of optometry that help to meet the patients visual needs. She provides comprehensive eye care for the whole family, including pediatric exams, standard and specialty contact lens fittings, and management of ocular health diseases including Ocular Surface Disease. She also enjoys spending time with her family and has a passion for a variety of fitness and outdoor activities with friends. In her spare time Dr. Sansburn is also a group fitness instructor and enjoys helping others to reach their health goals.

    Daria L. Yaworski O.D.

    Dr. Yaworski is an up-and-coming board certified Optometrist ready to provide you with comprehensive eye care.  Dr. Yaworski is a 2024 graduate of The Michigan College of Optometry.  She received her Bachelors of Science degree from Ferris State University in 2020.  Her professional interests include pediatrics, ocular disease and contact lenses.

    She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Michigan Optometric Association and Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity.  She has been on two optometric centered mission trips to Dominica; providing ocular health screenings and glasses to people in need.  She is excited to be a new addition to the Bay Eye Care Center team, and is here to help you with your eye care needs.
